John Wall grants 13-year-old's wish

Former Wildcat and current Wizards' point guard, John Wall, helped grant a 13-year-old's dream through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Niyear, who played basketball prior to his illness, looks up to Wall and considers him his idol.
"I chose him for my wish because when I get older I want to be like him," Niyear said.
Niyear was able to hang out with his idol for a day and even got to feel like part of the team. Kudos to Wall for being a great role model and making this young man's day.
Wall said, "Hopefully his wish came true and he had a great day."

We're wishing Wall good luck on the rest of the season with the Wizards as the NBA Playoffs are growing near. Good luck!
Also, congrats to the former 'Cat who continues to break records for the franchise.
