5-Star Guard Jordan Smith Jr. Sets Kentucky Official Visit

Jordan Smith Jr., the No. 4-ranked player in the 2026 class, has set an official visit to Kentucky. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound shooting guard from Paul VI Catholic (Fairfax, VA) will take an official viist to Kentucky from October 12-14 for Big Blue Madness, his father tells KSR+.
Smith has already taken official visits to Syracuse, Georgetown, Louisville, and Duke. He will visit Arkansas from Sept. 20-21, his father tells KSR+. He previously told KSR+ that he is also setting up second trips to Duke and Louisville.
Paul VI (Virginia) five-star guard Jordan Smith Jr. is the nation’s No. 4 overall prospect according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, an equally weighted average that utilizes all three major recruiting services. Rivals ranks Smith as the No. 1 shooting guard and the No. 4 overall prospect in the nation.
Jordan Smith’s Thoughts on Kentucky
Jordan Smith Jr. was visited at his home Kentucky head coach Mark Pope and assistant coach Alvin Brooks III in the spring. During that trip, his father, Jordan Smith Sr., was told that Kentucky was going to “ramp it up” in his son’s recruitment.

“The conversation was basically telling us how they see Jordan fitting in at Kentucky,” Smith said. “He said they’re going to ramp it up, so we’ll see. They were focused on the portal.”
Smith Sr. watched Kentucky several times during the 2024-25 season. He came away impressed.
“I told Mark Pope that I love his offense because it’s a spread offense,” Smith said. “He can get downhill and all of that. I told him that I love his offense. I told Pope that I love it.”
