Kentucky hosted Wake Forest wide receiver Horatio Fields for a visit on Thursday. The Wildcats are looking for help and size at X receiver after losing Dane Key to the transfer portal. Before that visit with Fields was completed, another name emerged.

News broke on Dec. 5 that Ball State wide receiver Justin Bowick was entering the transfer portal. The MAC transfer now has three visits lineup one week later. Cincinnati, Kentucky, and Louisville are each scheduled to receive a visit from the 6-foot-5 wideout.

The Atlanta (Ga.) Pace Academy product recorded 11 receptions for 131 yards as a senior and began his collegiate career at Eastern Illinois. Justin Bowick accumulated 35 catches for 499 yards as sophomore in 2023. Entered the transfer portal after that season and landed at Ball State. Missed eight games due to injury playing for the Cardinals in 2024. Recorded 20 receptions on 33 targets for 383 yards and three touchdowns with consecutive 100-yard games to end the season. Bowick finished the year with a 27.3 percent explosive catch rate.

Justin Bowick entered the transfer portal with two years of eligibility remaining and will be a redshirt junior in 2025. Wide receiver remains a need for this program and another free agent target has emerged.
