Kayaune Ross' Nickname Should Scare Defensive Backs

Lamar Thomas has a hard time remembering names, so like most people, he gives out nicknames. The nickname Thomas gave his wide receiver should make Kentucky's opponents nervous. "I call him Godzilla because when I first saw him I was just amazed at his physical. I means, the kid's put together now," Thomas said. "When he walks out on the field, he wins that award. When you see a guy get off the bus, he’s physically intimidating." The 6-foot-6, 225 pound JUCO transfer made a name for himself during camp and Drew Barker noticed. "Physically, he’s a beast,” Drew Barker said. “I haven’t really seen a receiver like him. And obviously Dorian (Baker) looks just like him, too, but Kayaune is probably a little bigger even." Thankfully for Kentucky, Ross has three years of eligibility left.
