Kentucky football has added another commitment.

On Wednesday, three-star athlete Jordan Crutchfield announced on Instagram that he has committed to the Wildcats. He becomes UK’s third commit this month and fourth overall from the class of 2026. Crutchfield, who checks in at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds, is considered a three-star prospect and the No. 416 overall recruit in the country by the On3 Industry Ranking.

He is expected to play cornerback at the college level.

A rising senior at Vero Beach (FL) High, Crutchfield was in Lexington last weekend for an official visit. He was scheduled to take an official with Louisville this weekend, but the Wildcats were able to lock him up beforehand. Crutchfield also took an official visit to Mississippi State in late May.

Kentucky has been recruiting Crutchfield for over a year now. The Wildcats extended him an offer in May 2024, which quickly turned into an unofficial visit the following month. Assistant coaches Mike Stoops (inside linebackers) and Chris Collins (co-defensive coordinator/defensive backs) were the main points of contact for this recruitment. Collins even made the trip to the Sunshine State to see him in January.

“I have a great relationship with coach (Chris) Collins at Kentucky,” Crutchfield told On3 in the spring. “He makes me feel like family. I had a great visit up there, it is a good atmosphere and I like how everything is compact and close together around the campus.”

The likes of Florida, Miami (FL), Florida State, South Carolina, Penn State, Auburn, and more also extended offers to Crutchfield. He joins four-star OT Jarvis Strickland, three-star WR Prince Jean, and three-star WR Davis McCray as the Wildcats’ four 2026 commits thus far.
