Kentucky announce captains, uniform combo for matchup with No. 20 Ole Miss

Just like the fans in the Kroger Field stands, Kentucky football players will rock blue and white this weekend.
The Wildcats are set to wear white helmets, blue jerseys, and white pants as the uniform combination for Saturday’s showdown in Lexington against No. 20 Ole Miss. It’s the appropriate blend, considering half of Kroger Field will be wearing white and the other half wearing blue (if you don’t know which color you’re supposed to wear, click here).

Meanwhile, the Rebels will go with powder blue helmets, white jerseys, and white pants as the away team. Kickoff on Saturday is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC. Kentucky is currently a 9.5-point underdog, per the folks over at BetMGM.
We also have our Kentucky team captains for the Week 2 showdown. Junior OL Jalen Farmer, senior LB Daveren Rayner, senior TE Josh Kattus, and senior LB Alex Afari were chosen by head coach Mark Stoops as the Ole Miss game captains. Kattus, who hauled in three receptions for 43 yards against Toledo last week, is the only repeat captain from that victory over the Rockets.
