Availability Report: Kentucky is not missing any starters heading into Texas game

SEC football fans now have more clarity on the status of their respective rosters ahead of Saturdays in the fall. The league instituted a new policy in 2024 that requires schools to submit official availability reports.

Each Wednesday of SEC contests, both schools will share an availability report. It will be updated nightly, with one final ruling an hour before kickoff on Saturdays. Players must be listed as out (0% chance to play), doubtful (25% chance to play), questionable (50% chance to play), or probable (75% chance to play).

Kentucky will have every starter available for the seventh game of the season.

Kentucky starting cornerback DJ Waller Jr. will return to the lineup for the first time since Week 1 on Saturday. Kentucky will also also get nickel Jaden Smith back this weekend after he missed the Georgia game. Rotation wide receiver Troy Stellato will also be available after being listed as questionable earlier this week.

The Cats will have all hands on deck Saturday.

Texas availability report

WR Aaron Butler: Out
LB Jonathan Cunningham: Out
OL Cole Hutson: Out
RB CJ Baxter: Outh
DB Xavier Filsaime: Out
OL Connor Stroh: Out
DL Maraad Watson: Questionable

The biggest loss for Texas will occur on the offensive line. The Horns will be without starting center Cole Hutson. Starting left guard Connor Stroh also won’t be available. That’s not a great development for an offensive line unit that has struggled this year. Maraad Watson has played a big role at defensive tackle and remains questionable less than 24 hours from kickoff.
