Kentucky backup QB Deuce Hogan enters the Transfer Portal
A member of Kentucky’s quarterback room is going portaling. Junior quarterback Deuce Hogan has entered the transfer portal after two seasons at Kentucky.
Hogan transferred to Kentucky in 2022 after two seasons at Iowa. He played in three games in the 2022 season, completing six of seven passes for 19 yards vs. his alma mater in the Music City Bowl. He did not play this past season, falling behind Kaiya Sheron and Destin Wade on the depth chart. Both Sheron and Wade have also entered the transfer portal this offseason.
Coming out of high school, Hogan was a three-star recruit in the 2020 class at Grapevine (TX) Faith Christian. He rated the No. 430 overall prospect and the No. 31 quarterback in his cycle.
