Riding a way of momentum following Nick Mingione's first season as head coach, today at UK baseball media day he announced the final season at The Cliff will be filled with season ticket holders.  “Our season tickets are sold out for the very first time,” UK head coach Nick Mingione said. “Why did that happen? Because the Big Blue Nation is awesome, that’s why.” The No. 8 Bat Cats will begin the season next Friday in Spartanburg, South Carolina.  The first game at The Cliff is Wednesday February 21 against Xavier. Trey Huntsman will have more from UK Baseball Media Day later today. [mobile_ad]
