Kentucky baseball's game vs. Xavier has been CANCELLED
Fans hoping to see the Bat Cats in action on Tuesday will unfortunately have to wait a few more days — this afternoon’s game at Xavier has been called off.
Originally scheduled for 3 p.m. ET in Cincinnati, Kentucky’s matchup against the Musketeers is now cancelled due to severe weather in the forecast.
“Due to the forecast of severe weather, including the potential for tornadic activity, in the Cincinnati area and with the health and safety of both players and fans in mind Tuesday night’s game against Xavier has been cancelled,” the school announced Tuesday morning.
It would have been the Wildcats’ first midweek game since the team’s victory at Louisville back on April 16.

Instead, Kentucky (35-10, 18-6) will travel to Florida this weekend with a one-game lead in the conference with six games left to play. The Bat Cats previously defeated No. 2 Arkansas in a three-game series over the weekend two games to one and now sit at No. 2 overall in the RPI, behind only Texas A&M (40-8).
Stay safe out there, BBN. We’ll see you on Friday in Gainesville with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network+.
