Kentucky returns to Rupp Arena Wednesday afternoon with a bad taste in its mouth. After a disastrous trip to the West Coast, the Cats have a chance to get off the schneid as almost a four-touchdown favorite against North Florida.

Out in the desert Kentucky opened as a 26-point favorite over North Florida with a total of 150.5. The Vegas line is the same number KenPom has for the game, calling for an 88-62 Kentucky victory.

The Ospreys from the ASUN Conference are 1-3 this season, with their one win coming against South Carolina State. Like Kentucky, North Florida has a loss to Gonzaga on its resume. They’re one night removed from a one-point loss to Duquesne in overtime, a team Kentucky beat by 25 points.

Even though the Wildcats have fallen to each of their comparable foes, they’ve taken care of business against inferior opponents, covering the spread in all three of their games at Rupp Arena. It’s something for the Big Blue backers to consider before betting on Thursday afternoon’s game.

The action tips off inside Rupp Arena at 4:00 pm EST. It’s only available to watch on SECN+/ESPN+.
