Kentucky in Contact With Miami of Ohio 7-Foot Transfer Reece Potter

Kentucky isn’t done yet in the transfer portal. Miami of Ohio center transfer Reece Potter is the newest name on UK’s transfer board.

The 7-foot-1, 225-pound center has been in contact with Kentucky assistant coach Cody Fueger since entering the portal, his mother tells KSR+. Potter has been in the transfer portal since March 24.

Potter finished the 2024-25 season with averages of 6.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 0.7 blocks per game, playing 17.1 minutes per night. He shot 46.6 percent from the field and 36.7 percent from three-point range.

Potter, who attended Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY), committed to Xavier out of high school in 2023. He decommitted following Travis Steele‘s departure, following Steele to Miami of Ohio.
