Jayden Quaintance might not be following John Calipari to Arkansas, but two of his peers certainly could.

According to On3’s Joe Tipton and Jamie Shaw, a pair of former Kentucky commits from the class of 2024, Boogie Fland and Billy Richmond, will take official visits to Arkansas beginning on Wednesday. Fland and Richmond are considered the No. 19 and No. 25, respectively, overall high school seniors in the country per the On3 Industry Ranking.

Fland, who had signed his National Letter of Intent with Kentucky when Calipari was still head coach, was released from the NLI on April 15. Richmond, who had not yet signed his NLI with the Wildcats, reopened his recruitment on April 16.

Fland has said previously that he intends to give new Kentucky head coach Mark Pope a shot at recruiting him. The two have connected, although it is not expected at this time that Fland will land in Lexington. The 6-foot-2 point guard initially committed to UK and Calipari back in October over the likes of Indiana and Alabama.

As for Richmond, his father played under Calipari when the two were at Memphis. It was no shock to see Richmond follow Fland’s path and decommit from Kentucky once Calipari left for Arkansas. And it’s even less shocking to see Richmond schedule a visit to Fayetteville. The 6-foot-6 wing originally made his pledge to the Wildcats in December over the likes of Alabama, Memphis, and LSU.

Calipari has already been able to bring over one of his class of 2024 Kentucky commits to Arkansas in four-star wing Karter Knox, who committed to the Razorbacks on Monday. Now, he’s looking to bring Fland and Richmond along with him.

Of Calipari’s six-man 2024 recruiting class at Kentucky, only in-state point guard Travis Perry remains fully committed to the Wildcats under Pope going into the 2024-25 season. Elsewhere, Quaintance, the highest-rated prospect of the bunch, is no longer considering Arkansas and was expected to receive an in-home visit from Pope on Tuesday. Meanwhile, four-star center Somto Cyril took an official visit to Georgia over the weekend.
