With a week left until the April 30 deadline, the wave of transfer portal departures continues for the Kentucky football program. On3’s Pete Nakos reports Jaremiah Anglin has entered the transfer portal.

A 6-foot defensive back, Anglin was a Top 20 safety and the No. 222 overall player in the 2023 recruiting class, according to On3. The explosive athlete from Lake Wales, FL invited contact, creating many high-speed collisions at the high school level.

Anglin only spent one season in Lexington. He underwent knee surgery over the summer, sidelining the talented defensive back until spring practice. About a week after he was cleared to resume full-contact practice, he recorded a pick six that served as the final exclamation point for the spring game.

That was one of the many remarkable moments from his brief experience with the BBN. Anglin’s announcement ceremony was a long, eventful process that lasted almost an hour on Instagram Live and featured a video from Grady Judd. The notorious Polk County Sherriff is on TVs often in the region and took a liking to the heavy hitter who took up Grady Judd as his alter ego. Unfortunately, Kentucky football fans will not receive the full Grady Judd experience.

After wearing a redshirt in 2023, Anglin will have four years of eligibility remaining. He’s the fourth Kentucky Wildcat to enter the transfer portal over the last two days.
