Kentucky is shaking up its uniform game just a bit for Week Three. The UK Football Twitter account shared the uniform combination for the Eastern Michigan game, and the Cats will wear blue jerseys, blue pants, and white helmets for the Saturday night showdown (7:30 p.m. ET, ESPNU).

This is the second week in a row the Cats have rocked the white helmets. Last week, Kentucky wore the white lids, blue jerseys, and white pants vs. Ole Miss. In the season opener vs. Toledo, the Cats also sported blue jerseys and white pants, but paired them with blue helmets.

Kentucky is 19-11 in the blue uniforms in the Mark Stoops era. According to Mark Story, it’s the first time the Cats have worn this combo since November 20, 2021, a 56-16 win over New Mexico State. Check out the look, as modeled by senior tight end Josh Kattus:

On the other sideline, Eastern Michigan will be repping the MAC with a little gray. The Eagles will wear white tops, gray pants, and gray lids, a nod to their “ETOUGH” mantra.

Last night, Kentucky shared the hype video for the game, which features the good parts of the Ole Miss game and a ton of shots of the Kroger Field crowd getting rowdy.

If that tickles your fancy, I encourage you to watch Steven Peake’s latest roadtrip video, which includes more crowd footage and a cameo by Nick Roush’s adorable son Duke. Nick chronicaled his son’s first trip to a Kentucky Football game yesterday on the site, a must-read if you haven’t checked it out yet.
