Big Blue Nation took Mark Stoops’ words to heart when he expressed his confidence in Kentucky fans’ ability to get up early and “pound some beers” before Kentucky Football hosted Florida in a noon game in Lexington. KSR joined many of those early-rising fans in the parking lot outside Kroger Field before the game began, and it was there that we found plenty of beer-pounding for breakfast.

There are some people who believe the breakfast beers are the reason Kentucky won the game. Mark Stoops even said in his postgame comments, “We had to start fast because I asked them to start fast this morning.”

To see some of the scenes from last Saturday’s tailgating, take a pregame lap around the stadium on this new episode of “Show Me Your Tents” presented by Country Boy Brewing. Hit play to relive the fun of beating the Gators, then put it behind you because it’s time to beat Georgia.

Go Cats.

“Show Me Your Tents” will return with a new episode for the Missouri game.

In-Game Fan Reactions

Once KSR’s camera made its way inside the stadium, fans’ live reactions to the game made another fun Kentucky-Florida video. Steven Peake compiled the best shots of fans being fans in Kentucky’s big win over the Gators.
