WATCH: "Booth Cam" footage of Kentucky's win over Florida
If you’re like me, you’ve watched the highlights of Kentucky’s 26-16 win over Florida a million times by now. Get ready to watch some more. UK Sports Network released the “booth cam” from the game this afternoon, which shows Tom Leach and Jeff Piecoro calling the top plays from Ben Griffin Stadium. As you can see in Part Two, the crew battled some technical difficulties which led to Leach calling the game from a cellphone in the second half.
Between Leach’s screams, the fist bumps, and Piecoro’s cheers, this is one of my favorite features. While you’re at it, check out Leach’s postgame conversation with Mark Stoops and Jordan Wright. Sadly, the video didn’t capture Stoops yelling, “WHO’S SOFT NOW” in the locker room before the interview began. Just a truly awesome night.
