2022 Kentucky football schedule has been released

On Tuesday night, the SEC released the schedule for the 2022 season just four weeks into the 2021 season. Kentucky has an interesting slate.
The Wildcats open up the schedule with Miami (Ohio) from the MAC to begin the season before the first SEC test in Week 2 against Florida in Gainesville. In the Mark Stoops era, every even year has included a road trip to Florida in Week 2 outside of the All-SEC season in 2020.
Once again, this is a schedule loaded with challenges and unique opportunities.
The slate is highlighted by a road trip to Ole Miss as the Wildcats will visit Vaught-Hemingway Stadium for the first time since 2010. Members of the Big Blue Nation will finally get the chance to tailgate in The Grove. That should be a scene as Kentucky blue looks to paint Oxford blue.

Elsewhere, Kentucky gets Georgia and Louisville at home to close out the schedule. Kentucky only makes four road trips this season and the bye comes at a good time before Week 8.
