Kentucky Football Countdown: No. 85 Jordan Dingle

Kentucky football season is almost here. Players have officially reported back to campus as KSR’s countdown reaches No. 85, profiling a rising redshirt freshman, Jordan Dingle.
About Dingle
Jordan Dingle was one of the most talented players in the Wildcats’ 2021 recruiting class. A four-star prospect, the top 25 best tight end was ranked as high sixth at his position (ESPN). A three-sport star (basketball, track and field), the Bowling Green Purple reached the Elite Eight in the 2020 KHSAA Sweet 16 and concluded his football career with a 5A State Championship victory at Kroger Field.
Dingle Career Highlight
Dingle wasted no time turning heads as a true freshman. In the opening game of the season he caught a 31-yard reception against Louisiana-Monroe, dragging a defender more than ten yards down the field to set up another Wildcat touchdown. He had two receptions for 51 yards in four games to retain his redshirt status.

Jordan Dingle Fun Fact
Do I need to say it? His big brother, Justice Dingle, is on the team too. A Georgia Tech transfer, he flipped from defense to fullback this offseason.
2022 Forecast
Jordan Dingle will not be first one the depth chart, but he might be the most complete tight end in Vince Marrow’s meeting room. A 6-foot-4, 235-pound athlete, he is by no means a specialist. Whether it’s blocking out of the backfield or running routes, he really can do it all. After spending a year in the weight room, he’s physically ready to take on the SEC competition. While Keaton Upshaw, Brenden Bates and Izayah Cummings soak up all the attention, don’t sleep on Dingle.
