Kentucky will enter spring practice with only two scholarship quarterbacks on the roster after adding Georgia transfer Brock Vandagriff and high school signee Cutter Boley. The Wildcats have a depth problem at the sport’s most important position. Some recent developments tell us that offensive coordinator Liam Coen could add two high school prospects in the class of 2025.

Stone Saunders has been committed to Kentucky since August, but this program is not done at QB. On Monday, Coen made the trip to Findlay (Ohio) High to visit four-star prospect Ryan Montgomery. Kentucky will welcome another quarterback to campus over the weekend for junior day.

247 Sports’ Allen Trieu is reporting that Gahanna (Ohio) Lincoln rising junior Brennen Ward will visit Lexington this weekend.

Brennen Ward (6-1, 180) is the No. 580 overall player in the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking. Located in the Columbus suburbs, Ward is a top-20 prospect in Ohio. After taking a visit to Virginia last weekend, the three-star prospect is hitting the road again to see what Mark Stoops and his program have to offer.

Indiana, Syracuse, and Ball State have all issued scholarship offers to Ward this week. Missouri is also involved in this recruitment. The junior day list for Kentucky continues to grow.
