Eugene Hilton is one of the most talented wide receivers in the Midwest. His name carries a lot of weight in the state of Indiana, but it’s Kentucky who’s left a lasting impression on the 2025 recruit.

On Tuesday night Hilton revealed that he’s cut his list of potential suitors to six. Kentucky is joined by Ole Miss, Miami, Wisconsin, Missouri and FIU. Florida International may seem a little out of place for a talented athlete that’s already a four-star recruit in one service, until you learn that his father is the greatest player in the program’s history.

T.Y. Hilton spent 10 of his 11 seasons in the NFL as a star wideout for the Indianapolis Colts. Andrew Luck’s go-to wide receiver had five 1,000-yard seasons, including four-straight from 2013-16. The four-time Pro Bowler played for the Dallas Cowboys in his final season last fall.

Before he rose to stardom in the National Football League, T.Y. Hilton broke the Cardinals’ hearts. In the second game of Charlie Strong’s second season at UofL, Hilton caught seven passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Panthers to a 24-17 upset victory at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. Now his son may have a future in breaking hearts in the state of Kentucky.

Eugene Hilton is a 5-foot-10, 170-pound prospect that stars for Zionsville, Indiana. The speedster in the 2025 class is currently only ranked by two recruiting services, and Rivals believes he is a four-star talent. He’s got the juice to back it up and the production to match.

Through six games Hilton has caught 27 passes for 496 yards and 6 touchdowns. His Hudl page is littered with explosive receptions, most recently reeling in a 70-yard score. In addition to catching passes, he’s also a playmaker on special teams as a return man. It’s clear Eugene Hilton is a ball-player, and Kentucky is in the mix at the right time.
