Kentucky Football Sends Out Official Scholarship Offers
August is here, and that means official scholarships are being sent out. Kentucky, along with many other college football programs, was busy with this on Friday.
As KSR’s Adam Luckett noted on Friday, official scholarship offers will look different in the revenue-sharing era. Starting on Friday, programs can send contract offer term sheets to high school prospects. Players will not be able to sign these until the early signing period in December, but this will show in writing what they can expect to receive financially from the university. There will be room for negotiations down the road, but prospects could learn quickly if the promises made during the recruiting process actually show up in writing.
Kentucky extended several official scholarship offers to commits and targets in the 2026 class on Friday. KSR+ is tracking all of them here.
