Spring practice is officially underway for the Kentucky football program, but the coaching staff is still out on the recruiting trail making moves. Over the last week, several more high school prospects, ranging from high school freshmen to juniors, this side of the Mississippi River have picked up scholarship offers from the Wildcats.

A bunch of these recruits have already spoken with KSR+ reporter, Jacob Polacheck, to discuss their offers from Kentucky and what their plans moving forward might look like. You can check those out by signing up for KSR+ through the link here. We’re still offering a limited-time promotion of $10 total until the end of August.

Now let’s dive into the recent high school football recruits offered by Kentucky.

Class of 2024 offers

Kameryn Fountain (EDGE) 6-5, 240 | Washington (Mobile, AL)
4-star: No. 337 overall, No. 26 EDGE

  • A potential star in the making, Kameryn Fountain has already hauled in over a dozen Divison I offers, highlighted by the likes of Southern California, Arkansas, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee, and plenty others. Kentucky is the most recent school to reach out after defensive coordinator Brad White extended a scholarship on March 10. Tennessee appears to have the inside edge at this stage in Fountain’s recruitment, as he’s scheduled to officially visit Knoxville in June, but Southern California is expected to receive an OV at some point, too. He’s also expected to unofficially visit Georgia, Alabama, and Auburn this spring. As a junior, Fountain produced 56 total tackles, 12 for loss, and seven sacks.

Jashad Presley (S) 6-1, 190 | Dr. Phillips (Orlando, FL)
3-star: No. 71 S

  • Kentucky is one of three schools to extend an offer to Jashad Presley over the last 36 hours, joining Eastern Kentucky and Georgia Tech. Inside linebackers coach Mike Stoops was the one who reached out on UK’s behalf, joining the likes of Tennessee, Maryland, and Pittsburgh as other Power 5 schools also in the mix. Additionally, Presley has unofficially visited Florida State twice in 2023 and made a trip to Central Florida at the end of January. He also runs track.

Antonio White (WR) 6-2, 185 | Parkview (Lilburn, GA)
3-star: No. 184 WR

  • March has been a busy month for Antonio White, who’s already picked up offers from four different programs: Indiana (March 2), Rutgers (March 8), Kentucky (March 8), and Kent State (March 9). Defensive backs coach Chris Collins was who made contact for the Wildcats. White also holds scholarships from the likes of Louisville and Georgia Tech and even took visits to Clemson and LSU in 2022. He has experience playing on both sides of the ball, registering 500 receiving yards on offense as a sophomore then 100 tackles and five interceptions on defense as a junior this past season.

Jaden Smith (S) 6-3, 185 | West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC) –> KSR+ interview

Kash Mallory (LB) 6-1, 215 | Walnut Hills (Cincinnati, OH) –> KSR+ interview

Class of 2026 offers

Kamdon Gillespie (EDGE) 6-2, 230 | William Amos Hough (Cornelius, NC)

  • The first Power 5 offer for freshman Kamdon “KJ” Gillespie came from Kentucky defensive coordinator Brad White on March 6. Gillespie holds an additional scholarship from UNC Charlotte, which he picked up near the end of January. He also took a gameday visit to South Carolina during the 2022 season and reportedly grew up a fan of the Gamecocks. As a freshman, Gillespie recorded 12 solo tackles, including two sacks and a fumble recovery.

Payton Cook (WR) 6-2, 175 | Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH)

  • Just a freshman in high school, Payton Cook has already earned three Power 5 offers, the first coming from Pittsburgh in December, the second from Michigan in January, and the third from Kentucky’s associate head coach Vince Marrow on March 6. He suits up for Archbishop Hoban, which is considered one of the powerhouse programs in Ohio. In fact, Archbishop Hoban will take on Lexington’s own Frederick Douglass High School at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium in Massillon, OH once the 2023 season rolls around. Kentucky has recruited several prospects out of Archbishop Hoban in recent memory.
