You may not be superstitious, but even if you’re a little stitious, I’ve got some good news for you. Kentucky took a different play from the playbook and revealed on Thursday what uniforms the football team will be wearing this Saturday against Vanderbilt.

The Cats are bringing out a set that has served them well. Kentucky is rocking blue helmets, blue pants, and white jerseys on Saturday against the Vanderbilt Commodores.

Why is this good news? It’s the same combination the Cats wore the last time they hit the road. Kentucky won 10-3 at Auburn. That same Auburn team was the last opponent Vanderbilt faced. The Commodores needed overtime to survive with a 45-38 victory. Ashton Daniels had 442 yards and two rushing touchdowns in Nashville. Against the Kentucky defense, the Auburn quarterback was held to just 156 total yards of offense.

Is there some voodoo in these road uniforms? One can only hope it’s enough to keep the Commodores out of the CFP with a Kentucky Wildcat win. A sold-out crowd awaits the Cats at FirstBank Stadium for a 3:30 ET kickoff on ESPN.

One Last Look at the Kentucky Senior Day Win

The last time we saw Mark Stoops’ Kentucky football team in action, the Wildcats took care of business. Waka Flocka had a front row seat for the 42-10 Kentucky victory.

For his final game at Kroger Field, the UK Sports Video crew mic’d up tight end Josh Kattus. See how the senior soaked up the spotlight one final time in this recap of the high-octane action.
