Kentucky Golf Team Qualifies for NCAA Tournament

For the first time since 2006, the UK men’s golf team has qualified for the NCAA tournament after finishing 4th at the NCAA Regional Championship in Raleigh, North Carolina. Senior Stephen Powers led the way for the Cats by going 5-under for the weekend, placing him 5th overall for the weekend.
Just like every other sport, the SEC dominates the college golf scene as well. Of the 30 teams that made the tournament, 10 are from the SEC including top-ranked Alabama.
The NCAA tournament starts May 23rd in Hutchinson, Kansas and will be played at Prairie Dunes Country Club.
