Watch KSR's sad Rapid Reaction from Nashville

Tyler-Thompsonby: Tyler Thompson4 hours agoMrsTylerKSR

It’s hard to believe that the KSR crew covering tonight’s game in Nashville actually felt optimistic about it, both Jack and I picking the Cats to beat Gonzaga. Well, don’t we look like fools? Kentucky didn’t just lose to Gonzaga tonight; they got embarrassed to the point that the Kentucky fans in Bridgestone Arena booed early and often. To his credit, Mark Pope said the boos were well deserved.

The 35-point loss is tied for the third-worst in program history in the shot clock era, and the worst since Kentucky lost to Vanderbilt by 41 points in 2008. Jaland Lowe played, but it didn’t matter. Kentucky’s issues extend far beyond personnel on the floor. As DeMarcus Cousins put it, this team doesn’t seem to have much heart, which is crazy considering we spent an entire offseason hearing how competitive they are.

So, where do we go from here? Ready or not, Jack Pilgrim, Steven Peake, and I are ready to talk about it live from Bridgestone Arena.
