Kentucky hosting several 4-star recruits for official visits this weekend

College football official visit season has arrived. Over the coming days, Kentucky will bring plenty of talented class of 2026 high school recruits to Lexington for the first major OV weekend of the summer (late spring?).
Who is expected to make the trip to the Bluegrass and spend a few days on UK’s campus? KSR has the details below. By our count, there will be nine talented high school juniors coming to town this weekend. Four-star wide receiver Roderick Tezeno was originally among that group, but the recent Southern California commit is no longer expected to make the trip.
Don’t fret, though — Kentucky is still hosting several four-star recruits this weekend, including someone already committed to the Wildcats and another committed to an SEC rival. Dive in below to read up on who will be in Lexington this weekend, but first, a quick shoutout from our recruiting sponsor.

Kentucky Football Official Visitors (May 30-June 1)
Justin Williams (WR) 5-11, 190 | F.W. Buchholz (Gainesville, FL)
4-star: No. 189 overall, No. 27 WR
- Justin Williams announced his offer from Kentucky back in February. He’ll be among the most talented prospects to come through Lexington during official visit season. Once he leaves UK, Williams will hit Florida, Florida State, and Indiana for more officials. Pulling him out of the Sunshine State will be a tough task for the Wildcats, but new wide receivers coach L’Damian Washington has them in the mix.
Jackson Ford (EDGE) 6-3, 240 | Malvern Prep (Phoenixville, PA)
4-star: No. 227 overall, No. 27 EDGE
- Jackson Ford received his Kentucky offer from defensive coordinator Brad White in January, and he later listed the ‘Cats among his top eight schools a few months later in April. Ford also has OVs locked in this summer with Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Wisconsin, and Stanford. Ford will actually begin his OV with Kentucky on Tuesday, June 3 as a mid-week visitor, but he earns a mention here as a top 250 national recruit.
Jarvis Strickland (OT) 6-4, 280 | Paducah Tilghman (Chattanooga, TN) KENTUCKY COMMIT
4-star: No. 350 overall, No. 27 OT

- The lone 2026 commit on board for Kentucky, Jarvis Strickland, will put on his recruiting hat this weekend. He initially chose the ‘Cats back in March over offers from the likes of South Carolina, Michigan State, Tennessee, Louisville, and others. Originally from the state of Tennessee, Strickland moved to Paducah to team up with incoming Kentucky freshman S Martels Carter, where the two helped win the Class 4A State Championship at Kroger Field in 2024.
Tyran Evans (WR) 6-3, 180 | William Amos Hough (Charlotte, NC) TENNESSEE COMMIT
3-star: No. 529 overall, No. 81 WR
- Currently committed to Tennessee, Tyran Evans is at least keeping his options open. Kentucky offered him back in January, just a couple of weeks after his pledge to the Vols. Evans is a recent addition to the OV list, KSR has learned. He also has an official visit with Tennessee set for June.
Jamyan Theodore (CB) 6-0, 165 | Baylor School (Chattanooga, TN)
3-star: No. 737 overall, No. 61 CB
- Jamyan Theodore has been linked plenty to Louisville and Tennessee, but Kentucky is pushing itself into the mix. UK’s co-defensive coordinator, Chris Collins, reached out with an offer back in February. Theodore is teammates at Baylor School (TN) with Charlie Edgeworth, who also expects to be on campus this weekend.
Amante Martin (RB) 5-11, 185 | Memorial (Port Arthur, TX)
3-star: No. 747 overall, No. 41 RB
- Kentucky cracked the top five for Amante Martin, who was scheduled to arrive in Lexington on Thursday for his OV, back in late April. Kansas, TCU, Houston, and Tulsa are also in contention for the Lone Star State product. Kentucky’s running backs coach, Jay Boulware, offered Martin in January.
Charlie Edgeworth (OT) 6-7, 320 | Baylor School (Chattanooga, TN)
3-star: No. 1,057 overall, No. 84 OT
- The aforementioned Charlie Edgeworth will join his teammate in Lexington this weekend for their official visits. Offensive line coach Eric Wolford offered Edgeworth in January, not long after he made a quick unofficial trip to UK. He then returned for another unofficial in March. Florida and Louisville are also threats in this recruitment, but Kentucky appears to be in good shape with Edgeworth going into this weekend.
Cameron Miller (OT) 6-5, 310 | Morton Senior (Hammond, IN)
3-star: No. 1,201 overall, No. 94 OT
- Cameron Miller is another prospect Kentucky could potentially wrap up as soon as this weekend. UK is among his top group of schools, which also includes the likes of Indiana, Toledo, West Virginia, and Texas Tech. Coach Wolford offered him in January and brought him to campus for an unofficial visit in April.
Davis McCray (ATH) 6-2, 190 | Cornerstone Christian School (San Antonio, TX)
3-star: Unranked
- Another late addition to the list this weekend is Davis McCray, who is rated as a three-star recruit but not as a nationally ranked prospect. That could change soon. McCray’s OV to Kentucky was actually bumped up — he has trips to Houston and Washington State booked for next month. Coach Washington extended an offer on the Wildcats’ behalf in February.
