Kentucky Leads Kansas 51-31 at Half Following Fast Start

The electric atmosphere at Phog Allen Fieldhouse did not faze Kentucky. The Wildcats attacked early and often to gobble up a 50 Burger in 20 minutes. No. 12 Kentucky leads No. 5 Kansas 51-31 after one half of basketball.

TyTy Washington returned to the lineup after missing the Mississippi State game with an ankle injury. The freshman phenom had two points, three boards and four assists. Oscar Tshiebwe played like a National Player of the Year, racking up 11 points and five rebounds in the first half. Keion Brooks led all scorers with 12 points.

Kentucky sank 4-of-8 three-pointers, scored ten points in transition and grabbed 11 more rebounds than the Jayhawks.
