Little League star bat flips Kentucky to the Great Lakes semifinal

Little League’s Great Lakes Region began its regional tournament over the weekend up near Indianapolis and the team from Kentucky is off to a hot start with a 2-0 record against the field.
On Saturday, Kentucky beat Illinois, 5-4, in the opening game of the five-day regional. Then on Sunday, Kentucky again got the job done with a thrilling win over Ohio, 7-6.
Represented by the North Laurel All-Stars out of London, Kentucky, the Kentucky team was carried by Cooper Parman in Sunday’s win. The 12-year-old went 4-for-4 at the plate with two bombs; first to tie the game with a solo shot in the fourth inning, followed by a three-run blast to break that tie two innings later.

Parman celebrated his second home run with a beautiful bat flip.
ESPN even shared the bat flip to its 23.4 million followers on Instagram Sunday night.
Not just a power-hitter, Parman was also on the mound for Kentucky and struck out the last two batters of the game to protect a one-run lead and secure the win.
Kentucky and the North Laurel All-Stars are now two wins from reaching the Little League World Series.
Kentucky plays Indiana today in the Great Lakes semifinals at 7 PM on ESPN.
