Kentucky makes top 12 for 2027 five-star Sydney Mobley

Kenny Brooks and the staff have been hard at work in the 2027 recruiting class, and little by little, it’s starting to pay dividends as evidenced by five-star forward Sydney Mobley.
The No. 12 prospect in the class has narrowed her list of potential landing spots to 12, and Kentucky is right in the mix. Alongside the Cats are Ohio State, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Illinois, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Vanderbilt and Virginia.

Mobley took an unofficial visit to Kentucky back in the summer, and a source told KSR that she was also one of a few key visitors in town for Big Blue Madness, which we reported at the time over on KSBoard.
So, it’s clear that she’s a high-priority recruit for the staff.
Kentucky has done a great job in 2026, reeling in arguably the best recruiting class in the country. Can they start off 2027 with a commitment from Mobley?
