Kentucky Men's Tennis will host Wake Forest in Super Regional

Kentucky Men’s Tennis is in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2014, and they’ll have homecourt advantage as they seek to advance to the quarterfinals this weekend. The No. 8 seed Cats will host No. 9 seed Wake Forest Saturday at 2 p.m. ET at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex.
Kentucky advanced to the Sweet 16 with victories over DePaul (4-0) and Northwestern (4-2) in Lexington this past weekend. Ranked ninth nationally, the Cats are now 23-7 overall. As one of the top eight teams left in the NCAA Tournament, they get to host a Super Regional. Wake Forest beat Radford (4-0) and Auburn (4-1) to make the Sweet 16/Super Regional round. If Kentucky beats the Demon Deacons, they’ll play the winner of No. 1 seed TCU and NC State in the Quarterfinals on May 19.
Tickets for this weekend’s match are on sale now. For more information, visit UKAthletics.com.
