Another class of 2025 prospect has earned an offer from the Kentucky Wildcats.

On Thursday afternoon, four-star power forward Caleb Wilson announced on social media that he has received a scholarship from UK. The 6-foot-9, 195-pound product out of Atlanta (GA) Holy Innocents Episcopal School is considered the No. 9 overall rising junior in the country according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

Wilson is currently participating in the NBPA Top 100 Camp down in Orlando, FL, where multiple Kentucky coaches have been in attendance. Assistant coach Chin Coleman caught some of the action on Wednesday before head coach John Calipari did the same on Thursday, the same day that Wilson was extended an offer.

Playing up a year on the Nike EYBL Circuit with the U17 Georgia Stars this summer, Wilson has been hearing from the Wildcats since at least April when he told On3’s Jamie Shaw that he was “starting to hear from some Blue Bloods now”, one being Kentucky.

Through 17 games with the Georgia Stars, Wilson is averaging 14.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.8 blocks in 28.4 minutes per outing. He struggled with his scoring though, shooting 38.7 percent overall, 17.5 percent from distance, and 67.4 percent from the free throw line. Wilson remained aggressive though — he averaged nearly 14 shots per game and got the stripe over five times per game.

Wilson also holds offers from the likes of LSU, Tennessee, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Stanford, Alabama, Georgia, Missouri, Indiana, Xavier, and more. So far, he’s only been on two unofficial visits to Georgia (last fall) and Georgia Tech (late May).

Calipari has now offered at least nine class of 2025 prospects. They include Wilson, PF Cameron Boozer (No. 1 in On3 Industry Rankings), SF Koa Peat (No. 3), SG Meleek Thomas (No. 4), SG Darryn Peterson (No. 7), C Jayden Quaintance (No. 14), CG Jasper Johnson (No. 18), PG Cayden Boozer (No. 21), and PG Darius Acuff (NR).

On3’s scouting of Caleb Wilson

“Caleb Wilson has a great frame, good length and natural pop. He plays really well in a phone booth, efficient movements in tight spaces, shows the footwork to shake free with the ball in the half court. He needs to continue getting stronger, which will help his base and balance. He is explosive around the basket, has go-to comfort over his left shoulder with patience. He can push the break and plays with pace. He has a vast array of offensive moves, at multiple levels. He is still learning his body and still gaining strength, this will only help his consistency. Tracking as one of the top players in his class.”
