Kentucky is 4-4 against the spread this season, showing that oddsmakers have had Kentucky pretty well pegged most of the season. The ‘Cats did not cover the +3.5 spread against Tennessee on Saturday. Come to think about it, they didn’t cover much of anything on the field all game long.
This marks the second time this season Kentucky will be a road favorite, having earned that honor against Vanderbilt in a game where they covered a 13-point spread.
When it comes to point total, the over-under in next week’s game against Mississippi State is set at 45.5. Kentucky games have hit the over in six out of the team’s eight games this season. They blew through the 50.5 over-under in the Tennessee game, thwarting Drew Franklin’s prediction on the Fade This podcast. Hopefully, you heeded the title of the episode.
