Kentucky Reaches Out To 2027 4-Star PG Beckham Black

Kentucky continues to expand its contact list in the 2027 recruiting class. The newest name is four-star point guard Beckham Black.
Black, a 6-foot, 180-pound point guard from Duncanville (Duncanville, TX) told KSR+ that Kentucky recently reached out to him after the contact period. Assistant coach Mikhail McLean was the one to make contact.
Black is the younger brother of former Arkansas and current Orlando Magic guard Anthony Black. Black was a member of the 2022 recruiting class.
College coaches began reaching out directly to 2027 recruits at midnight on June 15. KSR+ is keeping a full list of Kentucky’s contacts on the KSBoard.

Beckham Black’s Game
Four-star point guard Beckham Black of Duncanville (TX) is the nation’s No. 28 overall prospect, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. On3 ranks Black as the No. 62 player overall, the No. 15 point guard, and the No. 4 overall best player in Texas.
Black currently holds offers from the likes of Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Cincinnati, Georgetown, FAMU, Oklahoma State, Mississippi State, SMU, USC, and TCU.
Black recently participated with the USA U16 Team as part of the 2025 FIBA U16 Men’s AmeriCup from June 2-8 in Juárez, Mexico. He played alongside fellow Kentucky targets Marcus Spears Jr. and Nasir Anderson.
