Your No. 9 Kentucky Softball team was supposed to open SEC play today vs. No. 21 Texas A&M at John Cropp Stadium, but Mother Nature has other plans. Rain has pushed the series opener to tomorrow. Starting at 2 p.m., the Cats will play a doubleheader vs. the Aggies. The series will conclude Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. If you have tickets to tonight’s game, you should be hearing from UK soon.

Kentucky is 19-5-1 so far this season, 3-0 in SEC play after sweeping Missouri in Columbia earlier this month. Over the weekend, the Cats beat Michigan 2-1 to close out the John Cropp Classic and extend their winning streak to eight games. Texas A&M is 17-10 this season, 2-4 in conference play, dropping games vs. No. 7 Arkansas and No. 17 Georgia.

All three games will be available live on SEC Network+. Go Cats.

UPDATE: Here is ticket info from UK:

Those patrons holding tickets for Friday night’s game will be able to attend both games of Saturday’s doubleheader. Those with seats for the Friday game will have seating priority for the 2 p.m. ET game with seating priority shifting to the 4 p.m. ET game for those with Saturday tickets. Fans may sit in the general admission section, as well.

Kentucky Baseball, Volleyball also in action tonight

Basketball may be over, but it’s still a busy time for UK Athletics. Today, the men’s swimming and diving team competes in the NCAA Championships, No. 6 men’s tennis hosts Ole Miss (5 p.m.), women’s tennis plays at Missouri (3 p.m.), and tonight, we’ve got two big games to keep an eye on.

At 6 p.m., the volleyball team begins its spring schedule at Louisville. At 7 p.m., the No. 22 baseball team looks to extend its winning streak with the first game of a crucial series at No. 25 Alabama. The Cats (19-2, 3-0 SEC) currently own the nation’s longest active streak at 15 consecutive victories after beating Eastern Kentucky 9-3 on Tuesday. They opened SEC play with a sweep of Mississippi State. You can see tonight’s game on SEC Network+ or listen on the UK Sports Network.
