Kentucky’s loss to Auburn did not affect its standing in at least one poll. The Cats are No. 12 in the new AP Top 25, the same as last week.

As expected, Auburn is the new No. 1 team in the country. This marks the first time in program history the Tigers have been in the top spot. Gonzaga, Arizona, Baylor, and Kansas round out the top five. The Cats travel to Lawrence for a date with the No. 5 Jayhawks on Saturday.

From the SEC, Tennessee and LSU are also ranked, at No. 18 and No. 19, respectively. Alabama and Florida also received votes. I see you in that No. 25 spot, Davidson!
