Kentucky quickly took care of business on Saturday, cruising to a straight-set sweep against New Hampshire (25-14, 25-12, 25-5).

After taking down No. 5 Penn State in a statement win Friday night, the Wildcats carried their momentum into Saturday to close out the weekend in Happy Valley.

Right away Kentucky took control with sharp passes leading to pure swings, easily taking the first set 25-4. Set two had a similar result, as the Cats offense connected on all ends in a 25-12 win. Riding their momentum, Kentucky showcased their dominance in the third set to seal the deal. The Wildcats raced out to an enormous lead and never looked back, closing the match 25-5.

It was clear from the jump that Kentucky’s depth and talent would disrupt the New Hampshire Wildcats. The Cats’ powerful serves coupled with the pressure from their frontline kept New Hampshire off balance and scrambling. This performance from Craig Skinner and his squad highlighted their versatility and depth in closing out a comfortable win.

Saturday’s victory marks Kentucky’s second straight-set sweep in two days, carrying undeniable motivation into their next match. Next up, the Wildcats will face Pittsburgh on Wednesday at 6:30 P.M ET.

Leaving State College with two straight sweeps, the Wildcats head back to Lexington riding high, hoping to carry that momentum into their highly anticipated upcoming schedule.
