Kentucky target Terry Wiggins commits to Penn State

Kentucky only has one high school commitment in the class of 2026 as the calendar turns to May. The popular summer commitment window is right around the corner and the Cats have a lot of ground to cover. A top defensive target came off the board on Friday afternoon.
Coatesville (Pa.) Area linebacker Terry Wiggins is staying home to play in the Big Ten. The four-star recruit has committed to Penn State. The prospect was in State College last week for Penn State’s Blue-White Game.
“He realized where he needed to be,” said Wiggins’ father, Terence told On3. “Sometimes, the recruiting process can become overwhelming and he’s not necessarily a kid who likes a lot of attention. It can become a lot, so if you’re 100 percent sure where you want to be, why not end it?”

Kentucky hosted Terry Wiggins for an official visit and had official visits in June scheduled with Syracuse and Penn State. The in-state prospect did not need an official visit to become a Nittany Lion. James Franklin‘s program made Wiggins a top priority and that led to a May commitment.
