Mark Pope‘s top recruiting target will visit another college program this weekend.

According to On3’s Joe Tipton, five-star wing Tyran Stokes will spend the next few days in the Pacific Northwest to check out what the Oregon men’s basketball team has to offer. An official visit with the Ducks has been in the works for a while now, but a date had not been publicized until now. Stokes has already taken OVs to Louisville, Kansas, Kentucky, and most recently, Southern California.

The 6-foot-7 Stokes, who is originally from Louisville, is considered the unanimous No. 1 overall player from the class of 2026. Jacob Polacheck of KSR+ reports that Stokes is also expected to take an official visit to Gonzaga at some point.

Stokes, who is dabbling in football, has done an excellent job of keeping his recruitment close to the vest. His official visits have not been made public until right before he’s expected to arrive. In the case of his OV to Kentucky back in June, his trip to Lexington wasn’t widely known until he was already on campus. Of note, members of the Kentucky coaching staff visited Stokes out in California in person earlier this month. Oregon and Kansas have also met with him in person this month.

“I want to play for someone who really appreciates me outside of the court,” Stokes said previously in an interview with Rivals. “Someone who is going to talk with me just about how things are going and not just talk basketball all the time. I’m looking for a home, a place that I’m going to feel comfortable.”

A commitment date has not been announced (although it could come before the upcoming high school season begins), but Kentucky continues to trend as one of the favorites to land Stokes as we head down the home stretch. Buckle up, BBN.
