Availability Report: Kentucky is dealing with numerous injuries

SEC football fans now have more clarity on the status of their respective rosters ahead of Saturdays in the fall. The league instituted a new policy in 2024 that requires schools to submit official availability reports.

Each Wednesday of SEC contests, both schools will share an availability report. It will be updated nightly, with one final ruling an hour before kickoff on Saturdays. Players must be listed as out (0% chance to play), doubtful (25% chance to play), questionable (50% chance to play), or probable (75% chance to play).

Kentucky is dealing with numerous injuries after a very physical game in Week 8 against Texas.

Kentucky has stayed very healthy all season but they are dealing with some notable injuries this week. Five starters appear on Wednesday’s availability report. The status of Seth McGowan will be something to monitor closely throughout the week. DJ Waller Jr. is trending to miss another game with a hamstring injury. Troy Stellato will miss his third game this season.

The Vols will be without both of their starting cornerbacks again on Saturday. The pass defense has struggled because of this. Arion Carter leads the team in tackles. His status will be noteworthy throughout the week.
