WATCH: Brad White, Kentucky defense preview Tennessee Tech

The Kentucky football team will play their final game at Kroger Field in 2025 on Saturday afternoon. It’s Senior Day in the Bluegrass as the Cats will be hosting an FCS team. However, this year’s buy game is much different than the ones in the past.
Tennessee Tech has won 15 consecutive games under second-year head coach Bobby Wilder and will be playing in the FCS playoffs for the first time since 2011. The Golden Eagles have been lighting up the scoreboard with a balanced offense that puts defenses in constant conflicts due to a highly prolific RPO attack.
Defensive coordinator Brad White knows this will be a challenge on Saturday afternoon.
“Really good football team. Really good football team that, again, it starts with them with the run game. Quarterback (Kekoa Visperas) is playing with a ton of confidence,” White told KSR. “Their RPO game is elite in terms of if you load the box to stop their run game, the QB sees it, and he does a nice job. He can work all the variations.”
Visperas is having a monster season with 2,104 passing yards on a 65.4 percent completion rate plus 440 rushing yards on 5.7 yards per rush. The Eastern Washington transfer has accounted for 25 total touchdowns. At tailback, Quintell Quinn and Q’Daryius Jennings have combined for 1,152 rushing yards on 7.1 yards per rush with 19 rushing touchdowns. Four different wideouts have 20-plus receptions with each player over 300 yards. The Golden Eagles are a well-balanced and explosive offense.
