Scheduling and ticket information ahead of Kentucky volleyball‘s Sweet 16 matchup have been announced.

As one of the NCAA Tournament’s four 1-seeds, the Wildcats will return to Memorial Coliseum for at least one more match — and hopefully two — in the Lexington Regional. Kentucky will play its Sweet 16 matchup against Cal Poly (which upset 4-seed Southern California a couple of days ago) this Thursday, Dec. 11, with the start time set for 3:30 p.m. ET (ESPN2). If the ‘Cats are able to win on Thursday, they’ll advance to the Elite 8 on Saturday, which will also be played at Memorial.

Tickets for these matches go on sale Monday at 10:00 a.m. ET for all-session tickets, while single-match tickets go on sale Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. ET. On the other side of the Lexington Regional, 2-seed Arizona State will battle 3-seed Creighton, with that match starting at 1:00 p.m. ET on Thursday. The winner of Kentucky-Cal Poly will face the winner of Arizona State-Creighton in the Elite 8 on Saturday at a time to be announced.

IMPORTANT: There is a chance that Kentucky’s first match begins earlier or later than the scheduled 3:30 p.m. ET start time. Regardless of what time the first match between Arizona State and Creighton ends, UK and Cal Poly will begin approximately 30 minutes after. So, for example, if the first match ends at 2:40 p.m. ET, Kentucky’s match will begin at 3:10 p.m. ET. Prepare accordingly if you plan on attending. Arrive early if possible.

Kentucky had no problem winning its first two NCAA Tournament matches earlier in the week. With the home crowd behind them, the Wildcats swept Wofford in the opener on Thursday before taking down 8-seed UCLA in the second round a day later. In the win over UCLA, Brooklyn DeLeye tied a career-high in kills with 30, while Eva Hudson’s 27 kills were one short of her career-best. UK hit .400 as a team against the Bruins, including a .643 mark in the match-deciding fourth set.

The Wildcats now turn their sole attention to Cal Poly (27-7), which made it to the school’s first Sweet 16 since 2007 (and seventh in program history) thanks to an impressive five-set win over USC. The unseeded Mustangs nearly blew a 2-0 set lead before winning the fifth and final set 15-7. Emma Fredrick paced Cal Poly with 17 kills and 17 digs against the Trojans.

Will Cal Poly’s magical run continue with a win over Kentucky on Thursday? Or will the Wildcats cruise once again as Craig Skinner’s team continues its bid for a second national championship?
