LIVE BLOG: Kentucky vs. Gonzaga
Tuesday night’s loss to No. 16 North Carolina was not fun. Can Kentucky rebound vs. Gonzaga in Nashville? KSR’s LIVE BLOG will bring you all the sights and sounds from Bridgestone Arena as the No. 18 Cats play the No. 11 Bulldogs (7:00 p.m. ET, ESPN2).
Both teams are coming off losses: Kentucky fell to North Carolina 67-64 on Tuesday night at Rupp, and Gonzaga lost to Michigan by 40 points in the Players Era Championship the day before Thanksgiving. It was the Bulldogs’ only loss of the season, and their third game in three days. The Bulldogs also have wins over Oklahoma, Creighton, and Alabama this season. Mark Few’s squad ranks No. 5 in KenPom and features several familiar faces, including leading scorers Braden Huff and Graham Ike, who have played the Cats in this series the last three years.
Kentucky will be without Mo Dioubate tonight. Jaland Lowe’s status remains uncertain. The Cats’ top point guard option went through a full practice on Thursday without setbacks. Kentucky could use him tonight. Refresh the feed below for updates and KSR’s takes on the game from Bridgestone Arena.
