The moment you’ve been waiting for is almost here. Kentucky tips off against Providence in Greensboro at 7:10 pm EST on CBS. You’ve heard the storylines. We’ve broken down the matchups. Now it’s time to examine all of the stats, facts and numbers you need to know about the Wildcats and the Friars.

2 — More rebounds and Oscar Tshiebwe will surpass Chuck Hayes and move up to No. 7 on Kentucky’s all-time rebounding leaderboard.

3 — Wins and eight losses for Providence against six NCAA Tournament opponents.

4 — Losses in Providence’s last five games, including three straight defeats.

5 — Times Jacob Toppin has scored 20+ points, including back-to-back games. His old teammate, Bryce Hopkins, has done it 9 times for the Friars.

5 — Made three-pointers by Cason Wallace since he missed the Ole Miss game on the last day of January. He was 1-of-6 from three against Vanderbilt. Wallace was a 41% three-point shooter at Rupp Arena in 21 games.

7 — NCAA Tournament appearances by Ed Cooley, the most of any coach in Providence history. He has a 3-7 NCAA Tournament record, picking up two wins last season to reach the Sweet 16 where the Friars fell to Kansas. It was Providence’s first Sweet 16 since 1997.
