With Big Blue Madness right around the corner, we now have a completed schedule for the 2025-26 Kentucky women’s basketball team.

UK announced last week the tipoff times for 27 of the team’s 30 regular-season games. Two other start times had already been revealed throughout the offseason, notably leaving us without one important tip time for the in-state rivalry showdown with Louisville. That information was finally unveiled Monday afternoon. Kentucky will face the Cardinals on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 2:00 p.m. ET inside the KFC! Yum Center.

But here’s the interesting note: this game will be broadcast on The CW, which only recently started showing college basketball and football games in 2023. The CW is a channel that a young version of myself would affiliate with shows like 90210 and Supernatural, but now it’s hosting college sports — neat, I guess! Go ahead and figure out now how you can set that up on your preferred streaming device.

Louisville will be out for revenge in this year’s version of the Battle of the Bluegrass. Last November, Kenny Brooks‘ debut Kentucky team came back in the fourth quarter in Memorial Coliseum before dominating the overtime period, ultimately pulling off the 71-61. Before then, the Cardinals had won seven straight in this series, which was preceded by five straight wins for the ‘Cats.

In his latest Bracketology update, ESPN’s Charlie Creme has Louisville as a 4-seed and Kentucky as a 7-seed. Brooks has to replace his longtime point guard and a former All-American, Georgia Amoore, but this season’s squad appears to be much deeper. Reigning SEC Defensive Player of the Year Clara Strack, joined by the equally talented Teonni Key, will continue to hold down the frontcourt for UK. The matchup with UL will likely be Kentucky’s toughest of the non-conference.
