Kentucky WBB comes in at No. 24 in first AP Poll of 2025-26 season

We already know the folks over at ESPN have no faith in Kentucky heading into this season, but what do the actual AP voters think? After all, they’re the ones that dictate what little number goes next to “KENTUCKY” on the scorebugs.
Last season, the Cats ended the year at No. 16 in the AP Poll, getting as high as No. 8. They opened the year at No. 22 in the AP Poll, but without Georgia Amoore to captain the ship, where does Kentucky fit amongst its peers in the eyes of the AP?
Well, it turns out that Kentucky comes in at No. 24 in the debut AP Poll for the 2025-26 season, tied with Richmond.
