Kentucky WBB hosting Fan Day, Blue-White Game on Oct. 22

While Kentucky football is on its bye week, the basketball teams will take over.
On Saturday, Oct. 22, the Kentucky women’s basketball program will host both Fan Day and the annual Blue-White Game scrimmage inside of Memorial Coliseum. Doors for Fan Day will open at 10:30 a.m. EST with the Blue-White Game scheduled to tip off at 11:00 a.m. EST. A DJ, interactive video board, Kids Zone, and photo backdrop will all be provided throughout the arena.
This will be the perfect opportunity for the Big Blue Nation to meet head coach Kyra Elzy’s 10 newcomers, which include six rookies and four transfers. This will also be your first chance to watch the team play prior to the beginning of the regular season, which begins on Monday, Nov. 7 against Radford.

Admission to the event is free of charge. All 15 players and four coaches will be available for autographs at the conclusion of the event.
For you BBN die-hards, you can plan for Oct. 22 to revolve entirely around Kentucky hoops. The women’s team is hosting its Blue-White event early in the day to leave enough time for fans to travel down to Pikeville for the men’s Blue-White Game, which will take place at the Appalachian Wireless Arena at 6:00 p.m. EST. The football team will not play that Saturday due to a scheduled bye week.
