Rhyne Howard is one of the most exciting players in all of professional basketball — and you can watch her in person later this month alongside the entire Kentucky women’s basketball team.

When Howard and her Atlanta Dream teammates travel to Indianapolis’ Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Sunday, August 27 to take on the Indiana Fever, they’ll hope to do so with plenty of Kentucky fans cheering from the sidelines. The program announced on Friday that fans can sign up for a road trip that includes a bus trip to Indianapolis, lunch, and a ticket to watch the game in action.

Tipoff for the Dream-Fever matchup is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. EST, so a bus will depart from the Joe Craft Center in Lexington at approximately noon and will return after the game ends. A package consisting of the bus trip, game ticket, and boxed lunch will cost you $95 and can be purchased through the link here.

As an important note, a minimum of 45 spots must be purchased for the trip to take place.

The opportunity to watch Howard at the WNBA level (with members of the current Kentucky WBB team) is one that shouldn’t be passed up. Now in her second professional season, the reigning Rookie of the Year is putting together an even better sophomore campaign. Howard, who was named an All-Star for the second consecutive season, is averaging 17.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.3 steals in 32.6 minutes per game. She’s shooting 40.4 percent overall, 36.6 percent from long range, and 78.0 percent from the free throw line for the 14-13 Dream.

July was an especially impressive month for Howard, who averaged 19.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.0 steals per outing across 11 appearances on shooting splits of 43.1/38.4/81.1. The Dream went 8-3 during those 11 games, which saw Howard reach 150 made three-pointers faster than any WNBA player (57 career games) in league history. She also became the quickest player in Dream franchise history to break the 1,000-point threshold (59 games).

Howard is quickly becoming must-watch television across the WNBA. She’s one of the most exciting and versatile scorers out there who can put up points in a hurry. If you haven’t been able to watch her play since she was making All-American Teams at Kentucky, later this month is the perfect time to refresh your memory on her greatness.
