Kentucky has been active on the recruiting trail as of late, even reeling in top 2026 prospect Savvy Swords along the way. However, an offer to one of the best players in the 2028 class got lost in the midst of the Swords commitment news.

Erin Thomas, the No. 22 player in the 2028 class, recently announced on social media that she received an offer from Kentucky. The 6-foot-1 four-star guard also holds offers from schools like Louisville, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Cal and TCU, among several others.

As a freshman last season, Thomas put up 12.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.2 steals and 1.7 assists per game. The Cincinnati native had a season-best 24 points on 12-21 (3-6 3PT) shooting as she led her Princeton Vikings to a 70-29 win over Lakota East.

Maybe she’ll continue to put up big numbers and down the line, maybe she’s a Cat. Her proximity to UK is certainly intriguing.
