The third dominoe in Kyra Elzy’s 2022 recruiting class has fallen.

Saniah Tyler, a 5-foot-6 point guard out of Incarnate Word Academy in Florissant, MO, announced on Thursday that she has committed to the Kentucky Wildcats Women’s Basketball Team. Tyler is ranked by ESPN as a four-star prospect and the 24th best point guard in the class of 2022. She chose UK over Arizona State and Tennessee.

During her junior season, Tyler averaged 12.7 points, 5.3 assists, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.8 steals across 29 games while shooting 35.7 percent from beyond the arc. She was a key figure in helping lead Incarnate Word to a perfect 29-0 record and a State Championship in Missouri.

Here’s what ESPN’s Dan Olson had to say about Tyler from last January:

Raatz-Fence-O’Sheas Classic-January 2020: Athletic floor-leader with a scoring punch in the back court; physical off the dribble, drives and delivers in traffic; mid-range offensive threat extends to the arc; defends, disrupts. (Olson)

Tyler joins 6-foot-4 forward Tionna Herron and 5-foot-5 point guard Cassidy Rowe (a Kentucky native) as members of the 2022 recruiting class for head coach Kyra Elzy.
